Ben missed his first day of school with a bad cough and fever. Thankfully he bounced back and made it on Thursday morning.
We have had a time trying to buy clothes for him. About three weeks ago we noticed all of his shorts were too short. So we went school clothes shopping and couldn't find shorts anywhere. You know - because it was August and 98 degrees so flannel-lined jeans were very appropriate.
Thankfully we found a couple pair (again at consignment - we're really on to something). These were a little big so he had to have a belt. When Jenny said, "Let's put on your belt" he responded with, "Just like Woody!" So, of course, he had to take Woody with him.
He loves giving gifts. Jenny made a jar of York Peppermint Patties for his teachers and painted, "Glad you were Mint to teach Ben"
Soon after he arrived, he found a friend...David.

After a successful first day, Mommy and Ben stopped off for a cookie.
This little guy missed his brother. But I think he's going to enjoy a quiet house on
Tuesdays and Thursdays.
