Happy Halloween!

Choosing costumes was a little harder this year than it has been in the past. Ben changed his mind on his costume every day right up until the week of Halloween. Since they are still little, I wanted the boys costumes to go together, so this made me a little crazy that he kept changing his mind.

Finally, he decided that he wanted to be a sheriff. Great. Perfect. Now what was Luke going to be. I thought maybe a jailbird, but then I decided he had no idea what that was so I thought of a horse. He loves animals so I knew this would be perfect.

So we set out on a hunt to find cowboy boots and a horse costume. As we are passing Kmart, I tell Todd that we should check there.  To that he says "nah, they won't have anything." So we precede to go to every store in the Little Rock area. No boots. No horse costumes. Feeling very discouraged, we start to head home because we are exhausted and nap time for the boys was coming quickly.

We pass Kmart again. Todd says, "well you might as well run in and see what they have." So I drap my tired self in to look, and sure enough, they had this cute little horse costume. I run back out to the car to grab Luke to make sure it fits.

Then I run over to the shoe section and low and behold there were some perfect cowboy boots for our little sheriff. Thank you Lord!!

The moral of this story...men should always listen to their wives. :-)

My little sheriff and his trusty horse

We went to a few different carnivals. We started with my parent's church.  Then we went to Calvary's and got to catch up with some friends that we haven't seen in a long while. Lastly, we went to Immanuel's. The boys loved each one of them and came home with lots of candy.

The boys loved carving the pumpkins this year. Of course, this is the best picture I could get of them. Ha!

I always love to look back at pictures of each year. Here is a collage starting with Ben's first Halloween all the way through to this year.

Happy Halloween!
